FirstFry Foods, a frozen french fries manufacturer from Gujarat, India, is exhibiting at booth B1-BN16 at SIAL Vietnam 2026, the first Vietnamese edition of the SIAL food show, held alongside Vietnam Foodexpo. FirstFry Foods supplies frozen french fries, hash browns and other potato products from Gujarat, India, by the reefer container. For the four days of SIAL Vietnam our export team is at booth B1-BN16 in Ho Chi Minh City to meet the importers, distributors, hotel and restaurant groups, and retail buyers who bring frozen potato products into Vietnam.

SIAL Vietnam shares SECC with Vietnam Foodexpo, the national food industry exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, on the same dates and hours. Buyers can see international suppliers and Vietnamese producers at the same venue on the same days.

Frozen french fries and potato products we supply

Our standard carton holds four 2.5 kg bags, and we can pack in a buyer's own printed film. The range keeps for 24 months at −18 °C, which gives an importer room to hold stock between containers. Specifications for each line are on the complete product range page.

Who we hope to meet at SECC

Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi sit about 1,600 km apart and are supplied as separate markets. We want to meet importers with cold storage in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, distributors that deliver to hotels, restaurants and cafés, quick-service and delivery chains that buy fries by the carton, and supermarket and e-commerce buyers looking at frozen fries under their own label.

Five things a Vietnamese importer should ask a fries supplier

1. Test reports for the exact productThe importer's product declaration rests on food safety test results. Ask for reports from a designated or ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory that match the specification you will buy. A report for a similar cut from another line does not count.
2. Which declaration route applies on the day you shipVietnam is moving to new food safety rules under Decree 46/2026. Agree with your importer which filing it will make for the first container and whether it plans to re-file under the new rules, before artwork and test reports are ordered.
3. Label data for a Vietnamese sub-labelMandatory label content has to appear in Vietnamese. Ask the supplier for the ingredient list, net weight, storage instruction and date format in a form your label printer can use.
4. Cat Lai or Hai PhongCat Lai serves Ho Chi Minh City and the south; Hai Phong serves Hanoi and the north. Name the port and the Incoterm, FOB or CIF, so the quote reflects the real route.
5. How many cuts in the first containerA first order often mixes two or three products. Ask how the supplier handles splitting one container across several cuts, and how that changes the minimum.

Registering, collecting your badge and getting to SECC

Pre-register on the SIAL Vietnam visitor registration page. Entry is free for professional buyers who register online. The organiser emails a QR code, which you exchange for a badge at SECC Hall B2. If you arrive without registering, you still complete the online form on your phone at the venue for business verification before a badge is issued.

SECC is in Phu My Hung, District 7, about 15 minutes from central Ho Chi Minh City and 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, according to the organiser's venue page. Taxis, ride-hailing apps and city buses all reach it, and there is parking for cars and motorbikes. Bring business cards: the show is B2B only.
